I have always loved creating, from making a mess at the kitchen table as a child, to making pots for the London NewDesigners' Exhibition. I love to be surrounded by original and unique pieces of fine art, craft and design.
I studied at Loughborough College of Art and Design and later went to Goldsmith's College in London. I initially became an art teacher to secondary pupils and later teaching in special educational needs schools, developing skills and sharing my passion with young people.
However, I longed to continue with my first love of art and began painting once more, which I now do full time.
Living in the country, as well as my love of animals, has been my inspiration . I enjoy interpreting the individual personalities of the animals I portray. Much of my inspiration is gained through living on our small holding, looking after our animals, country walks with my family (and dogs), and our time spent at Country Shows.
I hope you enjoy my work!
